Nanny and household staffing in Atlanta
The nanny your children will remember.
Founder-led placements for families who want more than a list of names. We introduce one carefully matched candidate at a time, with clear context about the work completed before you meet.
The promise
One thoughtful introduction. The work behind it.
A profile can tell you where someone has worked. It cannot tell you how they communicate, respond under pressure, or fit the rhythm of your home. We look at the whole role and the whole person before making an introduction.
Services
Care for every season of family life.
Whether you need consistent childcare, specialized newborn support, temporary coverage, or help managing the household, the search begins with how your home actually works.

You will know why we made the introduction.
- 01
We learn your household.
We define the schedule, responsibilities, compensation, working style, and details that will shape the fit.
- 02
We search and screen.
Candidates move through a consistent review of experience, interviews, employer references, screening, and relevant credentials.
- 03
You meet with context.
Before an interview, you receive a clear candidate summary and our reason for making the introduction.
- 04
Both sides test the fit.
A paid trial day places the candidate inside the real routine. We gather feedback separately and guide the next step.
Founder-led by Kemora Wells
Care experience shapes every decision.
Kemora Wells built The Wells Agency from firsthand experience as a professional nanny. That perspective shapes the questions the agency asks, the expectations it sets, and the respect it brings to both families and caregivers.
Clear from the beginning
Know the terms before the search starts.
No search retainer
There is no fee to open a search. The placement fee becomes due when the caregiver begins, as confirmed by the signed agreement.
Your fee in writing
The calculation and the exact amount are explained before a candidate is introduced.
90 day replacement support
If an eligible placement ends during the first 90 days, we reopen the search once at no additional placement fee, subject to the agreement.
No caregiver fees
Caregivers never pay The Wells Agency to apply, be considered, or accept a placement.
For caregivers
Great placements begin with respected professionals.
The Wells Agency gives caregivers clear role information, paid trial time, and a direct point of contact throughout the placement process.

The right support for the way your household runs.

Our process
A clear process behind every introduction.
The goal is not to make the search feel complicated. It is to make your decision feel informed. Each introduction is supported by a consistent review and a candidate summary you can understand.
The 8 stages
- 01
Household consultation
We define the responsibilities, schedule, compensation, working style, and nonnegotiables in a written role brief.
- 02
Candidate application
We review relevant experience, work history, availability, compensation expectations, and eligibility for the role.
- 03
Structured interview
Candidates discuss their experience, judgment, communication, and responses to realistic care and household scenarios.
- 04
Employer references
We speak directly with former household employers and document the relationship, responsibilities, strengths, and rehire feedback.
- 05
Background screening
With written candidate consent, we complete the checks appropriate to the role and follow the required disclosure and dispute process.
- 06
Credentials and role requirements
We confirm current CPR and First Aid documentation and any role-specific requirements, such as a driving record, when applicable and authorized.
- 07
Family interview
The family receives a clear candidate summary before deciding whether to meet. The candidate receives the role details and compensation range before accepting the interview.
- 08
Paid trial and placement support
The trial takes place within the family's real routine. Both sides provide feedback separately before an offer, agreement, and start date are finalized.
The candidate summary
What arrives before the interview.
A profile can tell you where someone has worked. The candidate summary tells you what we learned, how we learned it, and why the introduction makes sense for your household.
You read it before deciding whether to meet.
About The Wells Agency
Care informed by the work itself.
Kemora Wells founded The Wells Agency from firsthand experience as a professional nanny. She understands that a placement is more than a schedule and a résumé. It is a working relationship inside a family's most personal space.
That perspective shapes the agency's approach: define the role honestly, screen consistently, give both sides useful context, and stay involved long enough to address questions that appear after the start.
The goal is not to make the process feel exclusive or mysterious. It is to make a serious household decision feel calmer, clearer, and more respectful for everyone involved.
What guides the work
Every search begins with clarity
The responsibilities, schedule, compensation, and expectations should be understood before candidates are approached.
Every introduction has a reason
Families receive fewer, more relevant introductions and the context behind each one.
Caregivers deserve the same respect as clients
Their time is paid, their information is handled carefully, and the terms of a role are shared before an interview.
Support continues after the match
Early check-ins give both sides a place to raise small concerns before they become larger ones.
For caregivers
Represented, not listed.
Your experience should be understood before your name is shared. We learn the work you do best, confirm the terms of a role before an introduction, and protect your time throughout the process.
What you can expect
You never pay a placement fee
Families pay the agency. Caregivers are not charged to apply, interview, or accept a placement.
Clear role information
You receive the responsibilities, schedule, compensation range, location, and employment structure before deciding whether to interview.
Respectful screening
We explain each step, request written consent before a background screen, and give you the opportunity to respond to information that may affect a decision.
A paid trial
Trial time is work and is compensated. Who pays and when is confirmed with you before the day is scheduled.
Support after the start
You have a direct agency contact for early questions and separate check-ins after placement.

Terms of use
What this site is, and what it is not.
Reading this site, or sending us an application through it, does not create an agency relationship. That starts with a signed placement agreement and nothing else.
Current as of September 3, 2026
Who we are
The Wells Agency LLC is a Georgia limited liability company placing nannies, newborn care specialists and household staff with families in the Atlanta metropolitan area. We are a placement agency: the family employs the caregiver directly. We never employ the caregiver and we are not a party to that employment.
This site is information, not an offer
Fees, timelines, guarantee terms and process descriptions on this site are a plain-language summary. The document that governs an actual engagement is the signed placement agreement, and where the two differ, the agreement controls.
Nothing here is an offer to place a particular candidate, a promise that a search will succeed, or advice about employment law, tax or payroll. For those, use your own attorney or accountant.
Applications
Sending an application does not oblige us to represent you, present you to a family, or take a search. We may decline any application, and we decline more than we accept.
What you send must be true and yours to send. Work history, certifications and references are verified, and a discrepancy ends a candidacy at whatever stage it surfaces.
The guarantee
The ninety day replacement described on this site is a replacement search, not a refund, and its exact terms and exclusions live in the placement agreement. It is void where a placement ends for reasons outside the caregiver's performance, and the agreement says which those are.
Fees and circumvention
A fee is earned when a family engages a caregiver we introduced, whether that engagement happens through us or around us. Hiring a candidate we presented, or referring that candidate to another household who hires her, still owes the fee. The specific window and terms are in the placement agreement.
What belongs to us
The text, photographs, design and the candidate files we produce are ours. A candidate file is provided to one family for one search and may not be forwarded, copied or shared with another household.
Limits
We vet carefully and we tell you exactly how. We cannot guarantee any person's future conduct, and this site does not claim to. The family is the employer and remains responsible for supervision, payroll, insurance and the ordinary duties of a household employer.
Georgia law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law rules.
Changes
When these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them. Continuing to use the site after that is acceptance.
Reaching us
Use the contact page. A real person reads it.
Privacy
What we collect, and what we will never do.
Two forms on this site collect personal information, and one of them collects enough to affect somebody's livelihood. Here is exactly what happens to it.
Current as of September 3, 2026
What families give us
Your name, email, phone and neighborhood; the role you are hiring for; the ages of your children; the schedule you need covered; your start date; and whatever you tell us in the notes.
We ask for children's ages and nothing that identifies them. Please do not send us names, photographs, schools or medical records for a child in a form field. If a placement needs that detail, it belongs in a conversation, not a web form.
What caregivers give us
Your name, email, phone and where you can work; the year you started this work; ages you have cared for; whether you drive; your CPR and First Aid status; your availability; your salary expectation; and two former employers we can reach by phone.
Background checks and your rights
We do not run a background check from an application. If you advance to the point where one is needed, you receive a standalone written disclosure and we obtain your written authorization first, as the Fair Credit Reporting Act requires.
If something in a report would end your candidacy, you receive a copy of the report and the federal Summary of Your Rights Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act before the decision is final, with a reasonable period to dispute it. If the decision stands, you receive a written adverse action notice naming the reporting company, stating that the company did not make the decision, and telling you how to dispute it and obtain a free copy of the report.
Who sees it
- The family, for a candidate we present. A candidate file goes to one household for one search.
- The consumer reporting agency that runs a background check, only after your written consent.
- Your references, who we call, and only to verify what you told us.
That is the entire list. We do not sell personal information, we do not trade it, and we do not add anybody to a marketing list from a form on this site.
How long we keep it
Active candidates and open searches for as long as they are active. A closed search, or a candidate we did not represent, is kept for two years and then deleted, because a family sometimes comes back and a caregiver sometimes reapplies. Ask us to delete yours sooner and we will.
Your choices
Ask us what we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the contact page. There is no form to fill in and no department to route through.
Security
Applications are transmitted over an encrypted connection and access is limited to the people running a search. No system is perfect and this page will not pretend otherwise.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
Accessibility
What works, and what does not.
This page names the gaps as well as the standard, because a statement that only lists what works is not an accessibility statement.
Current as of September 3, 2026
The standard
We build toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 at Level AA.
What this site does
- Text meets or exceeds the AA contrast ratio against its background, including the gold on dark grounds.
- Every control is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- The slideshow can be driven by arrow keys, pauses when it has focus or the pointer, and stops advancing entirely when the browser reports a preference for reduced motion.
- All motion is disabled under that same preference.
- Images carry descriptive alternative text.
- Form fields have real labels, and required fields are marked in text rather than by color alone.
What does not work yet
- The slideshow has not been tested end to end with a screen reader. We expect it announces slide changes poorly.
- Long application forms have not been tested with voice control.
- The site has not had an independent audit. Everything above is our own assessment.
